Nicole Beyer – Director

Nicole joined TNV as its founding Director in May 2009. Past roles include Executive Director of Arts Access Victoria, General Manager of Back to Back Theatre, Executive Officer of Young People and the Arts Australia, President of Arts Industry Council (Vic), President of Arts Access Australia, Chair of Snuff Puppets, Chair of the Geelong Arts Alliance and Chair of The Village Festival. Anna Kelsey-Sugg – Communications Manager

Anna joined TNV in early 2011, working part-time. Anna also works part-time at the Victorian Writers’ Centre. Anna’s experience is in writing, journalism and communications. Previously she was Web Journalist Australian Education Union and Assistant Editor/Features Writer Return To Work Matters, and has worked at the Victorian Writers’ Centre in various roles since 2005. Simon Abrahams (Chair)
Simon is General Manager/Executive Producer and co-CEO of Polyglot Theatre. Prior to this he was Marketing and Development Manager at Gasworks Arts Park and Executive Officer of the Gasworks Foundation. Simon has a Bachelor of Commerce.

Alice Nash (Deputy Chair)
Alice has been Executive Producer at Back to Back Theatre for nearly ten years and prior to that was General Manager of Big West Festival.

Erin Milne (Treasurer)
Erin is General Manager of Arena Theatre Company. She has extensive experience in youth arts, education and programming performances for young audiences.

Rose Godde Rose is Company and Programs Manager of Platform Youth Theatre, with over 25 years of arts management experience. Prior to this she was Executive Officer of Ausdance Victoria for 10 years.

Ann Tonks Ann is General Manager of the Melbourne Theatre Company and a Senior Fellow, School of Culture and Communications at the University of Melbourne.

Chris Thompson Chris is a freelance writer for theatre, film and television. He has been nominated for four AWGIE awards, winning twice. He is a former Artistic Director of St Martins Youth Arts Centre and HotHouse Theatre. Chris is currently a member of the Artistic Directorate of Jigsaw Theatre in the ACT.

Gorkem Acaroglu Gorkem is the Creative Producer/CEO of Melbourne Workers Theatre. She has received the Young Leaders Award from the Australia Council for the Arts and is a Green Room Awards Companies Panellist. Gorkem is a co-founder of the Diversity in Australian Theatre Alliance, DATA.

Emily Sexton Emily is Artistic Director of Next Wave. She was previously Melbourne Fringe’s Creative Producer and she co-founded the New Leaders Network, a peer-to-peer learning environment for leaders of small-medium Melbourne cultural organisations.

John Harvey John is Creative Producer of Brown Cab Productions, Indigenous film, television, theatre and digital storytelling company. He has worked extensively in community cultural development and was previously General Manager of Ilbijerri Theatre.

Sarah Austin Sarah is Artistic Director of St Martin’s Youth Theatre. She has worked as a theatre director, writer and curator in arts companies in both Australia and overseas.
