APRA music rights info session | 2.30–4.30pm APRA’s Jennifer Gome, Marcus Jones and Scott Stevens will discuss music rights for your event. Whether you’re a director, producer or venue owner, you’ll learn how to navigate the process of obtaining rights, and the steps and timing involved. Session covers recent changes, such as the “narrative concert” concept.
Meet the neighbours: talks+drinks | 4.30–6.30pm Hear from Footscray Community Arts Centre, Big West Festival, The Dog Theatre, Western Edge Youth Arts, Women’s Circus, IDJA Dance Theatre, Ausdance and Snuff Puppets, while we move through the spaces of FCAC; it’s an open house-come-moveable feast of getting-to-know-yous. There are drinks along the way, casual shoulder-rubbing and even a few short, sneaky performances between introductions.
