Goal: To address issues of environmental sustainability within the theatre sector.
TNV Manifesto – statement of principle:
We believe the arts are essential to our collective civic identity, and that it can simultaneously impact in social, economic and environmental arenas.
Next steps: We believe it is our job to work sustainably, using minimal resources and creating minimal carbon impact.
TNV will:
- Support the work of Tipping Point Australia and other like-minded organisations, such as Climart.org
- Support the work of the Greening our Performance Alliance
- Promote this issue throughout the theatre industry and beyond
- Minimise our own organisational carbon impact.
